2.1 ARITHMETIC OPERATORS

There are five arithmetic operators in C.They are

+ -->addition
- -->subtraction
* -->multiplication
/ -->division
% -->remainder after integer operation known as modulus operator

e.g

suppose a=10 and b=3
then a%b=1
